Any journey with me will begin with a 30 minute complimentary session. This is a full overhaul of your mindset around food and health. I will be with you, together, every step of the way to deconstruct misleading information. This also means I will guide you in your kitchen, fridge, pantry and at the market. The goal is to give you all the tools and knowledge so you can maintain the habits we implement together on your own. I believe to create these changes a patient, supportive and caring atmosphere is key. We will leave plenty of space for questions and curiosities. I look forward to connecting with you.

In this experience we will mindfully walk and talk nutrition with intention. We can discuss any curiosities that you might have or I can suggest options. Woodland pharmacies naturally induce stress reduction, while also accomplishing movement. Win win i would say. We will end with a green tea ceremony and a gentle guided meditation. A tea ceremony is a great way to relish in the calm and stillness.
Plants, animals and humans in the forest have synergistically coexisted for thousands of years, until modern day.
Originally from Japan, shinrin yoku (forest bathing) is regarded as a state prevention and health measure with therapy support benefits for society as a whole. Forest bathing has beneficial effects on human health from the showering of forest aerosols as well as physical relaxation. Blood pressure drops and lung capacity increases. Terpenes are the largest class of organic compounds produced by various plants that have anti-inflammatory, anti-tumorigenic and neuroprotective activities.
These days, scientists know that plants communicate not only with each other but also with animals and humans. The unique colours and smells of certain flowers only attract certain insects & are therefore classified as a form of communication. When plants converse or communicate with us, they don't use sounds and words but colours and especially scents. Certain terpenes communicate with our immune system and are responsible for the immune-enhancing effect of forest air. The concentration of terpenes in the forest is highest from June to August, higher in the forest's interior than at the edge - and stronger near the ground than in the treetops. It is particularly strong after rain showers and when the fog moves through the forests.

They are a fun way to gain confidence in preparing your own food. In the comfort of your own kitchen, I will lead you as we explore cooking techniques, reading-adapting recipes, preparation times, proper food handling and safety, working with new ingredients, and more! Through learning basic culinary techniques, you will bring more freedom and creativity to cooking at home, not to mention saving time and money!

You want to be healthy, cook your own meals, made from SOUL (seasonal, organic, unrefined & local) sources. Communicate with your metabolism through the foods you eat, food is your cure. I will meet with you for a free 30 minute consultation at your home to determine your dietary preferences and to develop a customized meal plan tailored to your liking and nutrient requirements. At this time we will also take a quick tour of your kitchen. This initial assessment will allow you to create a customized menu based on your nutrient needs. After you are presented with a personalized plant forward menu plan, a weekly (or one-time) cooking appointment is scheduled. I will grocery shop on the day of and prepare the meals in your own home, properly package and store food with easy reheating instructions, tidy up the kitchen, and leave your house filled with the delightful aroma of home cooked food. I focus on using the highest quality ingredients that are nutrient-dense, preservative-free, fresh, organic, local, unrefined and seasonal. Your meal will contain well balanced macro-micro-phytonutrients tailored to support your specific health status. An average time frame is 5 hours end to end to prepare a meal (for a family of 4 that includes appetizer, soup/broth, salad and main meal). A nutrient dense dessert is available upon request. I can also make enough of the same items for two meals - with extra cost for just the groceries.

We’ll talk about sweeteners, processed foods, healthy fats-oils, benefits of unrefined whole foods, optimal legume-nut-grain preparation, probiotic foods and cooking ideas. I'll help you reboot your kitchen and create an environment that is conducive to your new goals.
